What is an Organic Green Coffee Bean?
Organic green coffee beans are regular, raw and unroasted coffee beans that resemble regular brown-colored coffee in both their taste and appearance. Their distinctive taste – more grassy and less acidic than its familiar brown-colored cousin – sets it apart. Since it has not been roasted, there is no caffeine present either – often used as weight loss supplement since chlorogenic acid helps people shed excess pounds; studies on whether its extract can treat other illnesses have proven inconclusive.
Cultivating organic green coffee beans is an act of sustainable agriculture and an excellent choice both for consumer health and the planet’s wellbeing.
