Side Effects

Certain individuals can experience side effects during the “come-up” phase, when mushrooms begin their psychoactive and hallucinogenic effects. While generally mild, symptoms can worsen if taken on an empty stomach and blood sugar can drop precipitously leading to dizziness and weakness.

But these symptoms should be uncommon when doses are kept low enough and used therapeutically. Microdosing is safe for most people when done regularly – start off by measuring out your dosage using a scale, and microdose every two or three days until at least several months have gone by.
