This recipe is free from gluten, dairy and refined sugar; however, you can easily customize it to meet your individual needs by changing up the type of milk used – try coconut or nut milk for a creamy version or use whole or raw milk for traditional masala chai flavor!
To create this mushroom chai, bring four cups of water to a boil before combining all of your ingredients. Allow this mixture to simmer for one or two hours before straining into a glass bottle or pitcher and refrigerating. You can drink this hot or sweeten it further with milk and honey added as sweetener before enjoying! To make the tea even more delectable and satisfying, pour some into ice cube trays and freeze some for later!
