Organic foods can be an excellent way to eat healthier. Organic farming typically does not use synthetic pesticides or herbicides that could potentially harm our bodies when applied directly. Furthermore, organic food may even be better than non-organic due to being grown in healthier soil and not using chemical fertilizers – hence it is so essential that all your foods contain the certified organic label!

Coffee cancer concerns have long been debated among many. Many worry about its high amounts of acrylamide, but coffee’s dangers don’t compare to many of our food choices. Coffee’s acrylamide levels are created through roasting processes; although linked with higher risks of certain forms of cancers (but not directly causative). Recently a group of scientists removed coffee from a list of potential carcinogens because they believed it unlikely to cause breast or prostate cancer; there’s still not enough evidence proving whether other types of cancer.

Non-organic coffee crops are often treated with chemical pesticides to protect them from insects, fungus and diseases such as Parkinson’s. Unfortunately, these chemicals end up polluting our water supplies and soil, harming plants and animals – as well as impacting humans and the environment in negative ways. Furthermore, long-term exposure can result in health issues in coffee farmers such as endocrine disruption, nervous system disorders and reproductive problems; one study published by BMC Public Health revealed this risk factor can increase Parkinson’s risk among farmers significantly – see BMC Public Health 2021 for details.

Another concern regarding coffee production is the destruction of fragile rainforests where most coffee beans grow, which contributes to global warming. Over two thirds of world’s rainforest has been cleared away over the past forty years alone; organic coffee does not contribute to this issue.

Bottom line, organic coffee offers many advantages for our health and the planet. Not only is it deliciously better tasting but it doesn’t contribute to environmental destruction like non-organic coffee does; additionally it is packed with antioxidants which may reduce oxidative stress. We may not be able to change everything overnight but every little step counts towards creating a better world! We may not make global change overnight but purchasing organic coffee helps contribute towards making it better, every little bit counts!
