Researchers analyzed over 40,000 adults who filled out health and diet surveys over 10 years; then linked this data with public death records over that same time period; eventually they discovered those who consumed only morning coffee had 16% lower all-cause death risks and 31% lower risks related to cardiovascular disease-related death than those who never did drink coffee at all.

Researchers postulated that the difference could be explained by circadian rhythms and hormone levels; specifically when people consume coffee late in the day. If this continues, it may disrupt your sleep cycle and melatonin levels can become altered which in turn can have effects on cardiovascular risk factors like inflammation and blood pressure – although further study will need to take place to understand fully why only morning coffee drinkers experienced these benefits.
