Reishi mushroom tea offers an easy and tasty way to boost immunity. Ganoderma lucidum mushrooms have long been studied as traditional and western medicine remedies due to their many health benefits, which includes tumor removal, high blood pressure relief, hepatitis treatment and liver disease prevention. Reishi tea comes with many added health benefits!

Reishi mushrooms can be easily found in Northeast forests filled with hemlocks and other hardwood trees; however, their costs can become prohibitively expensive if purchased from herb shops or online retailers. Luckily, decocting dried mushrooms purchased from mushroom vendors makes the process quicker and cheaper than producing double extraction tinctures from alcohol-soluble parts of reishi mushrooms.

To make tea, chop dried reishi mushrooms into very small pieces (ideally using an appliance that grinds them to a powder) before placing in a pot with water, bring to boil, simmer for two hours before straining out and enjoying! Your finished product can store well in the refrigerator for up to one week before straining again for use.
