Ganoderma Lucidum Green Tea
Ganoderma lucidum, commonly known by its Chinese names Lingzhi and Reishi, is an edible medicinal mushroom with various health benefits that include anti-tumor activity, antioxidant protection, hypoglycemic regulation, immunomodulatory action and cardiovascular protection. Ganoderma lucidum extracts contain polysaccharides, triterpenes, amino acids and phenolic compounds for enhanced benefits.
Regarding cardiovascular benefits, freeze-dried G. lucidum with high concentrations of lucidenic acid and 12-acetyl ganoderma lucidic acid F demonstrated significant effects in terms of cholesterol reduction and blood pressure lowering.
Antioxidant
Ganoderma lucidum green tea boasts powerful antioxidant properties and is rich in polysaccharides (b-glucan and mannitol), alkaloids and triterpenes – such as triterpenes. These secondary metabolites play a key role in biological activities including hepatoprotective, antihypertensive, hypocholesterolemic and immunomodulatory benefits as well as possessing chemopreventive and antiangiogenic qualities that make up its broad spectrum therapeutic applications.
Multiple studies have demonstrated the antioxidant and immunomodulatory properties of G. lucidum extracts, making them useful in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. More research needs to be conducted in order to ascertain its safety and efficacy as dietary supplement, while an alliance between green tea and G. lucidum may prove more effective at protecting against metabolic disorders, cancers, or coronavirus infections.
G. lucidum contains water-soluble polysaccharides, glycoproteins and triterpenes as its active ingredients. Polysaccharides consist of various monosaccharides such as glucose, fructose, xylose, mannose and galactose linked via glycosidic bonds to form complex structures of different molecular weight and functional groups. Glycoproteins comprise chains of amino acids linked by carbohydrate groups with proteins. They may either dissolve completely in water or remain partially so; finally triterpenes contain organic compounds with phenolic and phytochemical components and may dissolve completely into water as well.
These herbal supplements or nutraceutical products containing G. lucidum and other herbs are often sold as dietary supplements under various names such as Lingzhi or Reishi and are usually offered in capsules, tablets, tinctures or liquid extract form; some varieties can even be brewed as tea while others are mixed with other herbal products to form blends.
Recent research demonstrated how water-soluble G. lucidum polysaccharides and their polysaccharide-protein complex reduced hepatic glucose production significantly in + db/+db mice while simultaneously significantly inhibiting HCV infection in these same mice.
Another study demonstrated that 5% G. lucidum extract reduced hepatic cholesterol levels in hamsters and minipigs by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase activity and decreasing cholesterol synthesis, as well as decreasing triglyceride levels; its protective and hypocholesterolemic properties being attributable to its oxygenated lanosterol derivatives.
Immunomodulatory
Ganoderma lucidum, more commonly known by its Chinese names of Lingzhi or Reishi, is used in traditional Chinese medicine to promote health, increase longevity and treat various illnesses. Its therapeutic benefits can be attributed to active compounds present within it such as polysaccharides, triterpenoids and peptides which have shown various beneficial effects such as cardiovascular disease prevention (CVD prevention) and immune enhancement.
Studies of G. lucidum mushrooms have provided evidence of its immunomodulatory properties. Polysaccharides found within them have been shown to activate macrophages and white blood cells – two key players in strengthening your natural defense system against infections – by activating macrophages and white blood cells through activation pathways such as macrophage influx. B-glucans and arabinoglucans found within them also help bind with complement receptor type 3 to block bacteria growth while simultaneously inhibiting adherence between them and host cells; furthermore they may prevent cancer cells by either stimulating apoptosis or inhibiting angiogenesis processes within cancer cells themselves.
G. lucidum contains polypeptides and triterpenoids which have the power to enhance cell’s response to stress while protecting from oxidative damage, such as polypeptide lZ-8 for anti-aging and immunomodulatory purposes, while triterpenoids like Lucidenic acid F and 12-acetyl Lucidenic acid offer antioxidant activity.
Another study demonstrated how G. lucidum triterpenoids could effectively prevent cancer cell growth through inducing apoptosis, inhibiting protein kinase C activity, and inducing cell cycle arrest. These effects are thought to be attributable to Lucidenic acid’s unique C30 structure as a diterpenoid diterpenoid diterpenoid diterpenoids molecule.
Polysaccharides from G. lucidum not only regulate white blood cell activity but have been shown to reduce body weight in animal models while improving glucose metabolism and increasing white blood cell activity that fight against coronavirus infections.
Recent results of a randomised, closed-label clinical trial demonstrated that patients with atrial fibrillation who took polysaccharides extracted from G. lucyrum three times daily for 90 days experienced lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels, triglyceride levels, LDL-C levels, IL-1b levels, hsCRP levels and TNF-a levels than those taking placebo; this result has not been replicated by other trials and may vary depending on cultivation methods and processing techniques used.
Weight loss
Green tea and Ganoderma Lucidum share many characteristics, from their refreshing flavor and health benefits, to chemical composition and pharmacological effects. Ganoderma lucidum’s extract typically consists of triterpenoids and polysaccharides to stimulate immune cells while green tea extract contains catechins and caffeine to promote metabolism and prevent fat absorption – these differences define both plants uniquely.
Ganoderma Lucidum and Green Tea both help regulate human body physiological functions while providing weight loss benefits. Ganoderma Lucidum extract can boost immunity, enhance sleep quality, improve gastrointestinal tract functioning and decrease triglyceride levels while Green Tea has similar results but more successfully at reducing cholesterol and blood pressure levels.
Ganogreen brings together the benefits of both reishi mushroom powder and green tea to offer the optimal combination. Both ingredients offer healing effects while green tea stimulates energy-enhancing effects to produce an effective blend that provides balance for physical and mental well-being.
Ganoderma lucidum and green tea are well-known for their antioxidant properties, being capable of ridding the body of free radicals caused by oxidation, while simultaneously delaying chronic diseases like cardiovascular disease and improving sleep quality. Furthermore, these substances may prevent skin aging while simultaneously improving quality sleep.
At first used as medicine and later consumed as a healthy beverage, tea has gradually evolved into a beverage for general wellness. Today its use has skyrocketed thanks to its numerous health benefits; slimming tea is now readily available on the market and various health drinks using pure tea are offered such as slimming tea. These beverages don’t harm digestive systems like most slimming teas do and are safe for human consumption; additionally these natural plant flavors such as Radix Glycyrrhizae, Momordica grosvenori and raspberry add pleasant tastes for an enjoyable taste experience; The invention provides green tea Ganoderma slimming teas as well as preparation methods and procedures used.
Cardiovascular disease prevention
Ganoderma lucidum mushrooms contain numerous polysaccharides and oxygenated triterpenoids with immunomodulatory properties, helping the body fight off infections while strengthening white blood cell functions – potentially strengthening immunity against disease. Furthermore, Ganoderma also boasts polyphenols with antioxidant effects for cardiovascular health promotion as well as adaptogenic properties and stress-relief qualities; such effects have also been demonstrated to decrease oxidative damage while increasing energy levels.
G. lucidum mycelium and fruiting bodies showed hypocholesterolemic properties in mice, leading to significant reductions in cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels. This effect could be attributed to various compounds present, including Ganolucidic Acid Eta (GAE), A-D-Glucans and polysaccharide-protein complexes which had been reported as inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase activity – an enzyme responsible for cholesterol production within liver tissue production.
G. lucidum mycelium extract showed cardioprotective effects in an aortic banding model in rats due to inhibiting adriamycin-induced lipid peroxidation and restoring antioxidant enzyme activity (GPx, GST and SOD). Furthermore, it prevented neointimal thickening caused by carotid-artery ligation mice through its action as an antioxidant agent via its primary constituents: a-d-glucans and triterpenoids which were responsible (Rajasekaran and Kalaimagal 2004b).
