Is Cappuccino Coffee Halal?
As with other beverages, whether or not cappuccino coffee is halal depends on its ingredients. If its primary component – such as roasted and ground beans that meet Islamic law standards – are halal then so will its resultant cappuccino drink be. For mixed materials like butterfat however, its origin must also meet Islamic law standards before use in the cappuccino beverage itself. In terms of other components used such as emulsifiers and flavors: any which share materials with one another will make the cappuccino non-halal while when base creamer made of corn or coconut should come from plants which comply with Islamic law in terms of slaughtered animal slaughtering practices before used within its final product.
